Jet pilot turned actress Emilee Edwards is best known for her roles as DA Laura Phillips in the sci-fi action film “Dietrich”, as Icelandic paradise hunter Jona in “Couchgarden” and as psychic Joan Ramsey in the horror thriller “The Hierophant”.

Born and raised in East Germany, she came to the United States in early 2006 to seriously launch her acting career. That same summer this 5’9” tall blonde landed a speaking part in her very first film acting role. Since then Emilee has appeared in over fourty shorts, features, TV shows and music videos. Most recently she worked alongside Ed Lauter and Louis Mandylor in “The Prometheus Project”, a feature length horror-thriller written and directed by Sean Tretta, set to be released on DVD in spring 2010. “The Prometheus Project” is about a group of scientists conducting underground stem cell research who discover a cell anomaly that has the potential to regenerate dead tissue. Emilee plays one of the test subjects and delivers an impressive performance culminating in a bone chilling scene of sheer horror.

A versatile acting talent, it is Emilee’s unique accent that sets her apart, and she takes full advantage of its peculiarity. Her uniqueness and talent have created several situations where the writers and directors have rewritten characters to fit her individuality. Her passionate attitude about every role she takes on and her relentless drive earned her the reputation of a highly respected and very dedicated actress in the independent film community in Arizona.

With “Dietrich”, “Ballad of Jackson” and “Inquisition” currently on a nationwide festival run her next projects include performing in a supporting role in the sci-fi adventure feature film “Skies of Firer”, the co-lead in the dark psychological drama "Lighthouse Lane", and taking on the role of Lieutenant Colonel Lene ‘Kanga’ Rew, a German Air Force fighter pilot, in the sci-fi film project “Stronghold”. The latter being a long anticipated one because it meets Emilee’s distinct penchant for dramatic roles in the action, drama, sci-fi genre.
